11am...gloomy, icey...

Yes, it really is that dark here... Everything has a good coating of ice, & now we're getting a bit of snow.

Pooooor trees... You can stand outside & hear creaking, cracking, & breaking branches everywhere around you.

  1. Don't feel bad for the trees! Every season has its purpose. Winter is a time of natural renewal. The snow breaking those weaker branches actually HELPS the trees, by reducing the work its vascular system has to do to get water to all parts of the tree, and thus EXTENDING the life of the tree. Winter is nature's way of doing spring cleaning, and is a time of ultimate renewal.
