She's a 1961 Willys Jeep cj5, 3sp, w/Ford 289....puurrrrrs like a kitten....

Came with original owner's manual, chains for all 4 tires, an extra gas tank that never got put on, a spare tire, an 8K# winch w/lead, & a very nice tow bar....

From our little cabin in the mountains, we want to send out a heartfelt "Thank*You* to all our Veterans who have served our country.

Our family has always had at least one member of each generation to serve, even my paternal grandfather who immigrated from Sweden was in WWI, my dad in WWII, & on down the line.
All are gone.

Very simple recipe, very tasty!

Stick of butter, 2 large onions chopped up, sauté, add a can of refried beans, a can of rotel, seasoned salt to taste. Top off with some extra sharp cheddar...

Playing with "Bells"...

Yep, here's *my* "new toy"! I've wanted one forever, but could never see the huge $$$ outlay for one.

Well...there she sat in our local pawn shop... I had to look at her... Asked to see it... *OMG*, her sound is just gorgeous!

I'm mulling it over, (I heavily procrastinate large purchases), when the shop owner, (whom I know...I frequent that shop a lot, too!) Says to me: "You know...instruments are 30% off this week....."

She's a Pearl brand, came with a hard case, a stand, all accessories... Yes, I'm a *very* happy person!!!

My *New* Golden Girl !!!

Here she is! She is just the sweetest, most mellow, laid back girl! She just turned 3yrs old.

Kinda funny... Katie's BD is May 26th, mine is May 28th, & my Golden Girl's BD is May 27th!

I'm considering new names, as the one she came with is nice, but she doesn't seem at all "attached" to it, & its also a bit too close to Sunny's name.
(I *could* name her "Velcro"...)
