LOL, no, the squirrels are having dinner! They are very happy we're back! We have Abert's Squirrels, both the black & the grey. Some have white on their tummies...all have the tufted ears. This squirrel does not hibernate. They love bananas!

Ohhh, *KATE*!!! LOL. Today's "sharp, shiney, pointy thing".....

Has the usual "survival" stuff in the handle, incl. a compass, but what's neat about this one, is that it has a pocket with it's own little sharpening stone!

But this is a pair of earrings I recently found at a thrift shop I frequent.

They are sterling, with turquoise, coral, & malachite.

Earrings, no matter what they are, precious metals / gems, or costume jewelry, are $1 a pair!

Previously, I found a pair of 14k yellow gold rose-shaped earrings at the same store...

On the bottom, & interior lid, it says:
DRU. Made in Holland.

Isn't this cute? I received this as a gift last year.

Its a pot that has a small frying pan as a lid!

Found this at the same place as those bullet shaped pocket knives. The blade is even engraved with deer, a hunter, & 2 dogs. Very nice.
